Internet-connected reader support
AlfaPOS now works with a range of internet-connected payment terminals: BBPOS WisePOS E, Stripe Reader S700 and S710, Verifone P400, V660p, UX700, M425, and P630. These readers connect over WiFi or Ethernet rather than Bluetooth, giving you more flexibility in how you set up your checkout – particularly useful for fixed counters or locations where a wired connection is more reliable.
Save cards for future charges
When enabled in Settings, customer cards are saved securely for later use. This is helpful for subscriptions, invoices, or any situation where you need to charge a customer again without asking for their card details. The feature follows Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements in Europe, which means subsequent payments are less likely to be declined or require extra verification from the customer. The feature is live on iOS, coming to Android in the next versions.

Subscriptions
You can now sell and manage subscriptions directly in AlfaPOS. Set up recurring payments for memberships, services, or any product your customers need on a regular basis – all without leaving the app.
Once a subscription is active, charges happen automatically on the schedule you define. You can view and manage all active subscriptions from the customer’s profile, making it easy to pause, cancel, or them update as needed.
