Sales events
Market days, festival stands, and fundraisers can now be managed as sales events in AlfaPOS. Each event has its own catalog, staff, and reporting, and can be created from Settings → Sales events.
You can assign staff to an event individually or by group. Every sale is automatically linked to its event, so you can pull a report for an event covering sales, refunds, tips, and products sold, then export it as CSV.
When the event is over, archive it to remove access while keeping all sales records intact.
Members and roles
Owner and Member are no longer the only two role options. You can now create your own roles and set granular permissions – from taking payments with a specific payment method to issuing refunds or seeing everyone’s sales. Your custom roles do exactly what you decide and can be reused across members and sales events.
Fee Saver: fixed amounts
Fee Saver now supports fixed amounts alongside percentages. When you apply a fixed amount, the same fee is added to every transaction, no matter the sale amount, keeping it predictable for customers and easier to explain. Fixed amounts are live on Android, with the iOS version coming next.
Packages for products sold by weight
You can now track the package count for products sold by weight. For example, if you sell 500g of coffee in two bags, both the weight and the package count will be recorded and appear on the transaction detail and the sales report.
Kiosk mode
Kiosk mode now monitors the reader connection while it runs and restores it reliably when the reader disconnects unexpectedly. Handy for unattended setups, where there’s nobody standing by to notice that the reader stopped responding.

Cash payments
You can now accept cash right inside AlfaPOS. Choose Cash at checkout and enter the amount the customer handed you – AlfaPOS does the math and shows the change due. Cash sales appear in your history alongside card transactions with a Cash label, refunds settle instantly, and because cash doesn’t need a connection, the flow keeps working even when the internet drops.
Sales report
Card, cash, and invoice sales appear together in one place, for any period you choose. Pick a period and AlfaPOS lays out your gross sales, discounts, taxes, net sales, refunds, and tips, with separate views for each way customers paid. The whole report exports as a CSV when your accountant needs the raw numbers.
